Scottish Highlands are renown for their high quality meat and have lower cholesterol than other breeds. They’re also beautiful animals with long horns and wavy hair.
The Galloway breed is also a Scottish breed. It’s one of the worlds oldest cattle varieties. Declining popularity makes this a very rare breed to find in the U.S. It’s believed that there are less than 10,000 head worldwide and we’re fortunate to have Matt raise them for us.
Raised in Wellington, processed in Denver, and sold by Boulder Natural Meats. It seems like a long way to go but what it means is these are simply the best chickens you can find.
These birds are raised in an open environment in Colorado and fed a vegetarian diet without antibiotics.
We bring in whole chickens and can butcher them any way you please so you have the best tasting, freshest meat around. Grab a wing or a whole flock to satiate your appetite…sharing is optional ;)
